SANDY LANE 2003 - 2004

This season has seen many changes to the club with Nick Hey and Danny Bolton taking control of team affairs.  Both have had experience at playing at a higher level, nick with Bradford Park Ave, Harrogate Town and Guiseley of the unibond league and Danny playing his early days at Barnsley AFC then onto Thackley of the Northern Counties East Division.    

After a poor result against Ryhill on the opening day of the season the team has'nt lost a game and with having played all the top half of the table they look in a good position to push for promotion in the second half of the season.  Andrew Midgley (Ex Thackley), Jo Richardson (Ex BPA), Chris Hannay (Ex BPA) have all been drafted into the club which already hosts a group of good young talent. Players such as Ben Omelia, Mark Wilson, Oliver Metcalfe to name but a few could all cope with football at a higher level and we're sure they will go onto greater things in the future.
